2. What Data We Collect

When you perform a VIN check, we store the decoded vehicle information (make, model, specifications, recall data) in a Summary record. Summary records are not linked to your identity — they contain only the vehicle data and a random report ID. For paid reports we additionally store payment metadata received from Stripe (we never store full card numbers).

We log page views for internal analytics. Each page view records the page path, referrer, country, and a daily-hashed IP address that cannot be reversed to your original IP.
