What does a Carlytics report include?
A Carlytics report includes the car's identity and factory specification, its mileage history with a rollback check, accident and damage records, a stolen-vehicle check, its registration and country trail, inspection records, open safety recalls, photos and its market value, each in its own section and each shown where available for that VIN.
The sections of a report
- Vehicle identity: make, model, engine, production details, factory specification and equipment decoded from the VIN.
- Mileage history: dated odometer readings from inspections and other vehicle records, checked for rollback.
- Accident and damage: salvage and write-off titles, auction damage classifications, recorded damage and damage markers, where available.
- Stolen and wanted check: the VIN against stolen-vehicle and police wanted lists.
- Registration and country trail: where the car has been registered, sold and imported, plus lien and taxi-use checks in the countries that record them.
- Technical inspections: inspection dates, results and recorded defects, where available.
- Safety recalls: manufacturer recall campaigns for the model.
- Price and mileage history: dated prices and mileage readings, with photos where available.
- Value and costs: market value, known model faults, running costs and diagnostic codes.
